The Barna Law Firm
Jim Barna, Syracuse employment attorney, focuses on counseling clients regarding wage and overtime claims, employment contracts, employment discrimination, harassment, and other workplace legal issues. He litigates significant employment law cases before trial and appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court.

Jim accepts only a limited number of employment law litigation matters each year so that he can give full personal attention to every aspect of each case from evaluation and intake through its resolution.

One specific focus for Jim's practice is representing physicians and other professionals regarding employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment issues.

Jim's office is in Fayetteville, a suburb of Syracuse, in Central New York.  He is a Syracuse employment attorney.

Syracuse Employment Lawyer

The best cases are the result of the best investigations. For this reason, Jim’s preferred method of handling an employment law litigation matter is to conduct a complete investigation at the earliest possible occasion before agreeing to see the matter through trial, and appeal if necessary. Once the investigation is complete, and Jim feels that the needed evidence is at hand, he will take the matter as far as necessary to reach the client’s desired result.

We encourage you to contact us with your employment law problems.

We serve clients with employment law issues throughout Central New York, including Syracuse, Oswego, Utica, Rome, and Ithaca. We also serve clients upstate from Rochester to Albany to Binghamton, the Southern Tier, Northern New York, and Onondaga County.
